Life update: Darshan and I spent a few days in San Diego last week, we had so much fun sneaking away for a night and even though it was for work, it was nice to be able to hang out and get some alone time. Anytime we sneak away from Raj we always make sure to spend some extra quality time with him before we leave and when we get back, so over the weekend we just enjoyed hanging out with family and hanging around town and laying low. We are still trying to get settled into our new house, and although I wish I had more time to make things feel more complete around here, I am enjoying taking the slower unpacking process so I can make things exactly how I want them! It has been hard because I hate still seeing boxes in some corners, but for my sanity and for my bank account, I am trying to only focus on decorating one room at a time, haha!
I wore this Tommy Hilfiger outfit to a family BBQ recently and I received SOOOOO many compliments on this dress! I have been wearing this brand since I was a kid, but recently these classic brands are making the biggest come back and everyone in my family was smitten and already ordering this dress for themselves. The cut and fit are seriously so flattering; there is nothing better than a great quality-made dress like this! One of my favorite places to find the most recognizable brands that are made with the best quality and are so chic and stylish is Macy’s. I remember when I was a kid I felt so cool shopping at Macy’s, and now as an adult I just appreciate what a luxury it is, I always find items at Macy’s that I don’t see anywhere else which is the best! I am a sucker for a gorgeous white sneaker and this dress and sneaker combo had me feeling like the most stylish girl next door, I cannot get enough of how fun and cute it all looks paired together.
Macy’s is THE ultimate dress destination, it is where I have been finding all of my closet staples and the perfect dresses for summer and all occasions lately. From casual every day dresses like this one I am wearing, which you will typically find me in, to occasion dresses for all of the upcoming summer weddings I have, they have the prettiest selection!
I have loved girly dresses with a casual vibe lately, and wearing floral dresses like this one and sneakers (these are too cute) have been a go-to, I think this will definitely be my summer staple. Also, paired with a white denim jacket like this or blue denim like mine shown here add just the perfect amount of style.
I used to wear Tommy Hilfiger all the time in High School, it was definitely one of my favorite brands and I would BEG my mom for every Christmas and birthday to get my entire wardrobe from Tommy Hilfiger. I cannot even tell you how stoked and elated I was when I saw this dress and so many other cute ones because I forgot how much I loved this classic American brand. I think anything you can make work with heels or sneakers is a great addition to any closet, if you are going to invest it has to be great quality AND versatile, that is how I make all of my purchases.
