Good times & tan lines

Who doesn’t love a good tan line? I mean, don’t get me wrong I am definitely all about that SPF coverage and never step foot in the sun without it, but there is something to be said about some gorgeous bronzed legs and a funky swimsuit tan line! It seems like lately Raj and I have been either at the pool or the beach more this summer than in the last two years. I am sure that has so much to do with the fact that I can mostly trust him around and in water more than ever before, so my level of comfort makes any body of water just more relaxing and enjoyable for the both of us.

I have always had quite a hefty collection of swim suits, in fact I have even had to purchase one of those 3-drawer plastic bins from Target just to house said swim collection. I am definitely not complaining about this “problem” – in fact it is sort of something I pride myself on, ha! Lately my swim fetish has taken on a new level of love in collecting one-piece swimsuits. I am not sure if it is because it has become more a challenge to find great pieces or just because they seem so much more chic and stylish to me, but my love for one piece swimsuits has hit an all new high. I have so many friends who ask me all the time where to buy the cutest one pieces because it can be pretty tough to find stylish ones that aren’t made for Grandma (no offense to all the Grandma’s out there). I have to agree 100% that it can be tough to find the perfect one piece for the younger gals. From the torso length being off to the style looking a little too matronly, I think when I find great styles I fall in love so much because they can be a little tough to come by.

I have been doing a ton of online shopping for some great styles and have even added quite a few to my drawers recently as well. I wanted to share some of my favorites I have come across with you, and also so I can have a place to direct my friends when I get asked where I find cute styles. I broke every item down by price point on here. I know there are ladies like me who would rather have more options so don’t prefer to spend a huge amount on one item, and then there are the ladies who want an investment for a special occasion. Trust me, I get both!

Worth the splurge

What are some of your favorite stores or websites to shop swimwear? I know it can be hard to shop online for swimsuits, but what I love about doing it this way is that you can shop it, try it on in the comfort of your home, and if you love it – great! If you don’t, almost all retailers (at least the ones from this post) accept returns in store or by shipping the item back, no questions asked and it is always super easy. Let me know if you have any luck with any of these… happy swimming!
