Casual Love

Sweater from Zara, sold out, similar here || denim || sneakers || beanie || handbag

I have been getting excited for all of the fun Valentine’s Day activities we have coming up: getting Raj’s class gifts together, our family date plans, and my niece’s birthday (she turns 5 on Valentine’s Day), so I have been loving shopping for fun VDay clothes. I just recently ordered this Dream Boat tee for Raj and ordered this sweatshirt for myself because as much as we love getting dressed up, I thought it was cute to go the casual style for a change and some inspirational ideas in case your plans do not include a fancy restaurant, like ours probably won’t. I can not tell you enough how I could live in this casual style clothing daily, and as a mom I feel like this is the most practical type of style for the weekdays chasing around a toddler. These sneakers as such a classic, and as you can see from their scuffs and worn-in condition, I wear them a TON! Also, beanie, because #momlife, aka who has time to wash their hair?! This is my best running-out-the-door look, so why not make it seasonally festive with this cute ‘love’ sweatshirt?

Does anyone have any fun Valentine’s Day plans? I know it is silly, but we love including Raj in on our plans. Last year and the year before the three of us did a brunch and park play date, we had the greatest time just spending the day together. We are not quite sure what we will be doing this year, but I am sure it will be something similar again. A day with my two guys is just the perfect type of love day I need!
